So, here we are going to show you a step-by-step guide on how to install Android 7.0 Nougat on Moto g 3rd Generation using CyanogenMod Custom ROM.

Prerequisites:
- You do have to charge your device battery up to 70 – 80%.
- Moto G3 bootloader must be in an unlocked state.
- Make sure it is rooted and possess any Custom Recovery.
- Take a backup of your important stuff.
Moto G3 Nougat Update – Steps to Download and Install via CyanogenMod 14 Custom ROM
Step 1: The below link will traverse you to download page and from there, you need to download all the packages (.zip) on your computer.
Step 2: Connect your Moto G3 smartphone with your computer via official USB data cable. (Note: Make sure your system must possess all the needed drivers to detect your device.)

Step 3: Copy all the downloaded files to the root directory of your smartphone.
Step 4: Now, you need to boot Moto G3 into recovery mode.
- Turn off your device.
- Press and hold “Volume Down + Power” buttons together for a few seconds until Fastboot menu appears.
- Now, select Bootloader > Recovery (Use Volume up key to navigate and Power button to select).
- That’s it! The recovery mode will appear.
Step 5: Once you are into recovery mode, do “wipe data/factory reset“, “wipe cache partition”, and “Wipe Dalvik Cache”.

Step 6: Then, Select “install zip from SD card” option > “choose zip from SD card” > select “Nougat Custom ROM.zip” package > select “OK”.
Similarly, you have to flash the remaining packages (gapps.zip and SuperSu).

Step 7: Once you have flashed all the files, select “++++Go Back++++” option and then choose “reboot system” to reboot your smartphone.
Please make sure that your device will take 5 – 10 minutes to boot up for the first time. Till then, you can enjoy whole new booting logo of Android 7.0 Nougat.
